The Vision for You is a process by which we discovered our true calling in life—what we call our ‘personal vocation’; and through which we discovered the Great Fact—that we have a choice in life: WE CAN CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY OR TO BE MISERABLE.
What I really needed was a transportable altar that was still a traditional size but which could fold up to be transported in the back of a car. And this type of altar seemed not to be available. So, I decided to commission a prototype from a cabinet-maker.
There continues to be an overwhelming amount of Catholic sacred art appearing on the auction market. Dozens and dozens of sacred vessels, monstrances, relics, vestments, and other items appear at auction every week across Europe and America.
Three historic chalices that appeared at auction in the UK recently deserve special mention. Although quite different, they stand as a united witness to the survival of Catholic faith under persecution.
This highlights the need to raise awareness that canon law forbids the sale of these, and also points to the need to encourage people leaving such things in their wills to specify that they are not sold on.

The Belgian auctioneers Carlo Bonte sold 19 lots formerly from the Capuchin Friary in Friday Market, Bruges. The collection consisted of many fine sacred vessels and paintings dating from the 19th century at prices that are less than commissioning new pieces today.
